Is a series of personalized and customized programs for Performance Training for all Sports. This course constitutes scientifically designed programs that include the areas of strength, speed, nutrition, biomechanics, compliance, and ethics.
These programs are designed with 20 years of experience, education, and practicing with over 60,000 athletes.
Listed below is The Poe Course Principles. I welcome coaches and athletes to become familiar with these principles. Many read these principles, but few will take the challenge.
Any athlete that has experienced any Poe Course Program can identify with Coach Poe's methodology.
The Six Underlying Principles Of The Poe Course
I. The Methodology Of Hard Work
Without the attitude of working hard, there can be no progress. There can be no victory.
II. The Weightroom and the Core
Without proper strength and core development, the body's potential to produce sport specific force is never maximized.
III. Hip Flexibility
Without active training and flexibility in the hips, the needed range of motion in the leg cycle and the arm cycle can never be achieved.
IV. Force Application - The Ground Is Like A Trampoline
The more force an athlete applies into the ground, the more force the ground throws back to the athlete to produce acceleration, speed, and velocity.
V. Foot Reaction - Your Always Running On Hot Coals
The less time spent on the ground, the faster the athlete's sport specific movement will be.
VI. Law Of Exaggerated Reference Points
Exaggerated reference points of training equal stronger chances to achieve optimal positioning.
"To learn and execute these principles is the beginning to sports specific speed development"---Matt Poe
