Formation flying 50 feet over the tree tops in the mountains @ speeds of 180 mph with no engine in extreme turbulance, sub zero cockpit temperatures, for 6 hour durations.  Living life at the redline - the breaking point of man and aircraft - constant 5 G stress means the 200 lbs pilot is subjected to stress making his body feel it weighs 1000 lbs, for hours on end while constantly 50 feet or closer to another motorless aircraft. Folks this is not for the weak at heart.  Dangerous? If you're not in top condition mentally and physically - you bet your ground bound flabby fanny it is!

Thats why I regiously do two things - go to Catholic Mass - and follow Matt Poe's program for strength and physical endurance.
